HILARY C. BANKER, graduated cum laude from the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School in 1996, and received her Bachelor of Arts degree from S.U.N.Y. Geneseo in 1993. She was admitted to the bars of New York State and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York in 1997.

Hilary was 2010 President of the Defense Trial Lawyers Association of Western New York and is a former director of the Western New York Trial Lawyers Association and the University at Buffalo Law Alumni Association. She is Vice President/ President Elect of the Buffalo Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), and a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Bar Association of Erie County. She is a former President of the University at Buffalo Law School Alumni Association GOLD Group, and the Western New York Chapter of the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York.

Her practice focuses primarily on representing Defendants in personal injury actions, and on the defense of insurance companies in first party claims. She has lectured on Ethics for the New York State Bar Association, and is often asked to serve as an arbitrator by colleagues in the insurance defense field. Hilary lives in Buffalo with her husband Jeff and their son, Will.
